Mild Hyperbaric
Oxygen Therapy

From mountain rescues to the frontier of healing research, the story of pressure and oxygen.

Superpower · Delivers Oxygen Where Your Body Needs It Most

Every healing process in your body runs on oxygen. Repairing tissue, fighting infection, making energy, and calming inflammation all depend on it. When you're living with chronic illness, inflammation, poor circulation, or exhaustion, the places that need oxygen most are often the hardest for it to reach.

A hyperbaric chamber changes the rules.

From the summit of Denali to your session

Hyperbaric medicine has a long history. For decades, hospitals have used pressurized oxygen to heal stubborn wounds, treat divers, and repair tissue damaged by radiation.

The soft-shell chamber has its own story. Physiologist Igor Gamow first built a chamber called "The Bubble" to study how altitude affects athletes' stamina. He then redesigned it into a portable bag that could be carried up a mountain. When climbers developed life-threatening altitude sickness, with fluid in the lungs or swelling in the brain, they could be zipped inside. The bag was pumped up to simulate a descent of thousands of feet without moving an inch.

In 1988 it was tested on Denali and at a high-altitude clinic in Nepal. Climbers suffering severe altitude illness improved dramatically after two-hour sessions. It became the first soft-sided chamber to win FDA approval, for altitude illness. Today's wellness chambers are its descendants.

Who it's designed for

Fatigue & Brain Fog

People living with chronic fatigue, brain fog, or exhaustion from autoimmune disease, long illness, or treatment.

Healing & Circulation

Those managing inflammation, slow healing, or poor circulation.

Metabolic Health

People working on metabolic health.

After Treatment

Cancer survivors recovering from treatment, with their care team's blessing.

True Rest

Anyone who needs to truly rest and is ready to try something new.

What happens inside your body

Under gentle pressure, your body absorbs oxygen differently. Most oxygen normally travels bound to red blood cells. Increased pressure and oxygen concentration raise the amount dissolved in plasma, the liquid part of blood. Oxygen then diffuses from the blood into tissues; the increase depends on the pressure and oxygen delivered.

1

More oxygen reaches tired and inflamed tissue.

Our concentrator adds enriched oxygen while the chamber gently pressurizes.

2

Recovery support.

In a study comparing recovery methods after sprinting, people who rested at mild pressure (1.3 ATA) cleared lactic acid faster and showed less fatigue on a second sprint than those who recovered actively.

3

Metabolic research.

In animal research on obesity and type 2 diabetes, regular sessions at 1.3 ATA improved blood sugar handling and lowered inflammation.

4

Fatigue and brain fog can lift.

Integrative clinicians report striking results with mild hyperbaric therapy. One 2025 published case followed a patient with chronic inflammatory response syndrome whose fatigue and cognition improved markedly over 40 sessions.

5

Deep calm.

The quiet, enclosed space and slow breathing are deeply restful. Many members fall asleep.

The research frontier

At Tel Aviv University, Prof. Shai Efrati's team has run some of the most exciting hyperbaric research in the world. In a 2020 study, 35 healthy adults over 64 completed 60 sessions over three months. Researchers found their immune cells' telomeres, the protective caps on chromosomes linked to aging, grew longer by over 20%, and the number of worn-out "senescent" immune cells dropped significantly.

An Honest Note

That study used a hospital-grade hard chamber at higher pressure with pure oxygen, a stronger dose than a soft-shell chamber. We share it to show where this science is heading, not as a promise of the same results.

A note for those touched by cancer

For years, people worried that more oxygen might feed cancer. Researchers looked hard at that question. Two systematic reviews and a 2012 follow-up review found no evidence that hyperbaric oxygen promotes tumor growth or recurrence, and hospitals use it routinely to heal radiation damage. Some chemotherapy drugs, including bleomycin, doxorubicin, and cisplatin, don't mix with hyperbaric oxygen. That's why we ask for your oncology team's clearance first.

Before Your Session

A note on safety

Hyperbaric therapy isn't right for everyone. Talk with your doctor first if you:

  • have a history of collapsed lung
  • have severe lung disease
  • have a sinus or ear infection
  • have a seizure disorder
  • experience claustrophobia
  • are pregnant
  • are receiving chemotherapy

Every member is evaluated before their first session.

Your Session at Studio 7:14

Lie back, breathe, and rest.

You lie comfortably in the soft chamber as it gently pressurizes, and you breathe concentrated oxygen. You'll feel pressure in your ears, like descending in an airplane; swallowing or yawning clears it. Then you simply rest, read, or sleep.
